Photography Competition

INTRODUCTION:

The Heritage Photography Competition invites photographers to capture the essence of heritage through their lenses, showcasing the beauty, history, and cultural richness of our landmarks, traditions, and historical sites. Open to photographers of all skill levels, this competition encourages participants to explore diverse heritage themes—architectural marvels, local customs, natural heritage, and more.

PARTICIPATION:

This competition is open to individual students and general public as listed below:-

Themes:

The competition aims to inspire and showcase the diverse talents of photographers by inviting participants to submit their best images that capture the essence of any or all of the following themes.

1. Heritage Monuments
2. Cultural Landscape
3. Heritage Arts and Crafts
4. Any other topic related to Heritage

Rules and regulations:

1. Participants may submit up to 1 entry per theme Image must be in digital format (jpeg) and submit online.
2. Photo may be taken in camera or in Mobile
3. The image should have 3:2 ratio example 4X6 inches with 300 Dpi and size 10MB
4. Each image should be accompanied by a caption (Maximum 5 words) with location, date and time when the picture was captured.

• Mention Aperture value, Shutter speed, Focal Length, ISO Speed and flash (if applicable)
• Entries must be original work of the participant; the participation will be dismissed if NOT found as original works.
• The entries may be asked to submit original image with no editing (Raw image): if in the suspicion of FORGERY.

Details of the Competition:

• Judges decision is final
• All the other participants will receive a participation e-certificate on their registered email
• Winners will be informed through email and Mobile
• Prizes will be distributed on 25^th Nov 2024 at 10.30 am in Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage, Karnataka Exhibition Complex, Mysuru
• Registration fee for this competition is FREE.
