Ar. Gagana B. K. is an Assistant Professor at the Mysore School of Architecture, Mysuru. She obtained her Bachelor of Architecture from Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management, Bengaluru. Her Master of Architecture in Urban Design was obtained at the School of Planning & Architecture, Mysuru. Ar. Gagana worked as an Intern at Yashaswi Architects while pursuing the Bachelor of Architecture. There she was involved in commercial, residential, interior design, and landscape design projects. She broadened her knowledge and expertise in such fields when she handled clients directly.

During her tenure of M. Arch., Ar. Gagana B. K. was also working as an Intern at Mysore Urban Development Authority where she got experience in Town Planning with government regulation firsthand. After graduation, based on her interest in teaching, she wanted to pursue a career in academics as a Professor of Architecture. At the same time to keep up with the design practice, she is also currently taking up freelancing projects to enhance her practical knowledge and share the same with the students.
